Mitu ddn't need to 'say the obvious' as it was written all over his face."Yes, I know Rincewind's a little... off, but he's not all that bad. You just have to get ued to his... er, shall we say 'quirks'."

Mitu laughed heartily, "Yes, he is a good Elder. Even my great great great great great grandparents thought so.

"Yes. I'm sure that Rincewind was old even when your great-great-great-great-great granparents were around. He's an old geezer, for sure."

Mitu laughed louder, "It would almost seem as if you didn't love him Takoe."

"Aw, I just think it fine to poke a little fun at those you are close to. After all, he's an understanding fellow, and he'd completely agree with anything I've ever said about him. It's a sign of everlasting love if you can be completely honest with your mate."

Mitu nodded, "I s'pose. I don't have one to really know. But I don't really talk to the Elder either, he's far too important."

"I think you may have the wrong impression of Rincewind. He'll listen to just about whatever any dragon says, he's fair that way. I think he'd rather like meeting you."

Mitu brightened a little, "Oh really? That's a new thought for me."

"Well, the Gathering is in about a week, so you can see him then. I suppose he's going to get on my case about preparing the Gathering, or at least someone will like always, but those dragons worry too much! I mean, really, it's a whole week away!"

Gently Korro landed on the shores and saw Takoe and his friend Mitu he bowed his head and mumbled a greeting.

Takoe looked at the newcomer, as though she were reading him. "Hello there, Korro."

Korro stayed silent.
"He's like that."

"Ah. So your the silent type, eh? Not a bad way to be, it usually keeps you out of trouble with hot-tempered dragons."

"Shenron." He murmered.
Mitu graciously spoke for his friend, "Shenron he says. Probably got mad at him. Did you talk about Akrona around him Korro? You know the Eastern Council Dragon Shenron doesn't like her."

"Yes. The human, Akrona, is going to be a serious issue. There are many dragons opposing her being in Tarturo Weyr, and some even want to get rid of her alltogether, by force if nessacery. Council Dragon Shenron can be rather adamant, and when he's picked a side it's hard to make him think clearly. Personally, I'm all for a human on the island. It certainly has caused quite a stir here, but it was getting far too quiet on Tarturo."
